We came the other night on a whim because my husband had watched a video and saw the all you can eat crab legs. We called ahead and they told us they stop seating 1hr before closing. We were able to get there right on time, but they were hesitant to sit us. After confronting the person we spoke to on the phone, they let us stay. The food seemed plenty fresh, and we were able to make one round, but before the next we were asked to finish making any plates we would be having because they were disposing all food. We quickly made a few more plates; but were unable to have desert or the hot pot. The restaurant is very large and tons of seating, as well as a large parking lot out front due to being in a strip mall. All I can say is come several hours before closing if you want the full experience
This is the one buffet I always need to go to when visiting Tampa! They just remodeled and im very impressed by the modern clean decor. The food is on another level and such a value for the price! There are a lot of good dishes that I've never seen before at other buffets. This Umi has fresh sushi, a ramen bar, hot pot AND a fridge of boba milk teas and other Asian drinks! I took photos of the unique dishes. Customer service is very attentive and friendly as well. Would definitely recommend and always come back! 5/5
A family favorite! I go all the time with my parents and they just keep getting better and better. Almost half of their dishes are seafood and they're always so fresh. They have crab legs, lobster, sashimi, abalone, oysters and so much more. They also have classic buffet dishes and so many options. Service is great too.
The absolute best meal I ever had in my lifetime. Visited on Saturday evening, place was packed. there was about a 15 minute wait for a table. I was the only one dining. To my surprise every food item was freshly stocked and when it ran out it was filled back up in a short amount of time. Every dish I tried was the absolute best tasting that I ever had, the cooks need to get a raise as it was all incredible. I will definitely be visiting more often now.every food dish I tried was fresh and cooked to perfection. I was so happy with my visit I left a 70% tip. Highly Highly recommended Five Stars *****
I'm not a big fan of buffets but this is one of the best buffets I've ever been to. The variety of food alone is impressive and the flavor of everything is amazing. If you're gonna go, you gotta go during dinner because that's when the best items are available. Everything is clean and everyone is nice and attentive, I've been here a few times - so I consider this a go to spot whenever I'm exceptionally hungry.
